JEYES LIMITED (“JEYES”) - RETURNS POLICY

1. Jeyes does not operate a ‘sale or return’ policy, and it is therefore accepted by Jeyes’ customers that goods which are delivered in good faith against a valid purchase order will be paid for within the agreed payment terms.

2. In the event that a customer wishes to return any unopened goods against which a valid purchase order has been received and processed by Jeyes, an administration and restocking charge of £50 plus VAT may be levied, in addition to any and all costs associated with the collection of the goods, at Jeyes’ discretion.

3. It is a strict precondition for the return of any goods that the goods MUST firstly be unopened, and secondly, be in their original packaging. Jeyes’ customer agrees that under no circumstances will goods be returned unless they are unopened and in their original packaging.

4. The risk in any goods supplied by Jeyes to Jeyes’ customer shall pass to the customer on delivery to the customer. Thereafter, the risk in such goods remains with the customer until such goods are delivered back to Jeyes’ nominated premises, unopened, in their original packaging in the limited circumstances outlined in this Returns Policy.

5. The customer agrees and accepts that if it returns goods in an opened state the customer will be wholly responsible for all liability arising directly or indirectly from such breach of this Returns Policy and agrees to indemnify and keep indemnified Jeyes against all costs, claims, damages, and or expenses arising directly or indirectly from a breach of this Returns Policy.

6. In the event of delivery of goods with a fault or faults either in terms of quantity or quality thereof and provided the customer can demonstrate that such fault is that of Jeyes or its carriers, the customer undertakes to contact Jeyes in writing at: This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it or by telephone: 44 1772 318318 to arrange for the collection of the goods. If the goods are leaking or the fault in the goods is such that there is a danger they may leak in the course of the return dispatch, the customer shall report this fact to Jeyes and shall not return the goods to Jeyes without Jeyes confirmation in writing to do so.

7. On the return of the goods to Jeyes’ nominated premises, the goods shall be inspected by Jeyes to ascertain the nature of the fault with the goods. If Jeyes is satisfied that the fault is their responsibility, Jeyes will at its option replace free of charge, or credit the price of, the faulty goods.

8. All claims for delivery discrepancies and/or faults MUST be notified to Jeyes within 24 hours of the delivery being made to the customer’s nominated address.

9. Due to the hazardous nature of many Jeyes products, great care should be exercised if a leak is detected. If a product is highly corrosive it must be handled with great care and with appropriate PPE. The customer’s attention is drawn to the Safety Data Sheet and/or the Product Label for further safety information. Should the customer have any doubt whatsoever how to handle a product, before doing so the customer must contact Jeyes.

10. Nothing in this Returns Policy shall exclude Jeyes’ liability for death and for personal injury arising from Jeyes’ negligence.

This Returns Policy forms part of the Jeyes Conditions of supply.
