Jeyes Group recognises that environmental management is an integral part of effective business management and fundamental to a successful business strategy. The company is dedicated to protecting human health, natural resources and the global environment and to minimise any adverse effect of its activities upon the environment.

THE A.I.S.E. CHARTER FOR SUSTAINABLE CLEANING
Jeyes is a member of the International Association for Soaps, Detergents and Maintenance Products (AISE) which has established a common approach to promote and demonstrate continual improvement throughout the cleaning industry.

The AISE Charter consists of two elements:

1. A standard set of procedures which are based on the International Standards of ISO 14001 and other standards such as the ISO 9000 series that apply to the design, manufacture and use of raw materials. As a member of AISE Jeyes adopts the common approach set by the charter.

2. A.I.S.E. produces an annual report which details the industry’s progress in meeting 10 Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s). To enable this to be completed, Jeyes along with all other members of the charter must submit annual data to AISE.

As part of compliance with the charter, Jeyes has an appointed independent verifier who audits the business in compliance with key Charter Sustainability Procedures across all areas of the business, thus ensuring a year on year improvement in sustainability.

As a member of AISE Jeyes makes a commitment that its products are manufactured with priority given to the following elements, without compromising product performance:
- improvements in safety of people
- improvements in sustainability of the product
- reduction in environmental impact of the product

Jeyes has been independently verified in meeting a required level of sustainability and has a commitment to continual improvement at all stages of the product life cycle.
